This family is of the origin from Candiano. it has given to the church two ecclesiastics, Clemente created Bishop of Auagni, 1857, and Mariano, Arch Bishop of Spoleto. Other members of this family scattered in Gubbio and other cities and have immersed in the military,in the sciences, and in the letters and others occupied important positions of counselors, governors, and ambassadors.
